Well the east coast is coming out to-day! It is season opener and there is so much going on. People are talking too slow and not saying much of anything when they finally spit it out. And roe and processing started at 8am so all of the gear had to be ready and the bathrooms had to be done. i would have cleaned them yesterday morning but i spent the hour that i would have spent on the bathrooms cleaning up the remains of dinner from the night before. Why the cook chooses to make the crustiest bread she can is beyond me and why twenty somethings can't get most of the food into their mouths is also beyond me. If you are walking along and you spill your soup...clean it up...don't just leave it there for people to slip on or be grossed out by it.
So I woke up made the vat of coffee ran to the bathrooms cleaned them came back had to get stuff ready for Jennifer (my helper) then open the snack shack so that people could start talking slow to me. And Hiro - the roe man - got in last night and he already went over to the trailer which is not fully cleaned to look it over. He didn't say it exactly but what he basically said was "Girl you must be outside your mind if you think i am going to put people in there. Figure it out and get on it." Well hello - we aren't done...go away while we work our magic. alright. im going to go run around somemore. maybe if i don't slow down they'll have to talk quicker...
