I'm back

7:24am Kenai, AK
It's really beautiful here this morning. The sun is shining on the mountains differently. They are so bright you can really see the colors and there isn't a lot of fog around them, they really pop today. I was thinking that it's probably my grandparents happy to be together again - so why not go to a place they love. Lucky me I just so happen to be here to see it.
Just like Bobbie said, I hit the ground running. I landed just before 5pm, was picked up brought back to the plant, dropped my stuff off, checked in at the office and clocked in at 5:25pm. There was lots of laundry to do and i had to survey the damage. Not too bad. The silty water really starts to stain the toilets if they don't get scrubbed every few days. But luckily help arrived last night. Two girls they weren't expecting - the company they (and 23 of their friends) were supposed to work for just didn't show up. I think they went under or just couldn't give them all work. So we took 3 of them in. I'm going to put them to work cleaning the rooms for the rest of the crew who will be showing up soon. Lots to do today...lots to keep my mind busy. I started writing on the plane because i hadn't written in a few days...i amassed 3pgs. I'm going to try and scale it down a bit but you'll have something to read later - and by later i mean you will probably get it tomorrow.
More people are showing up so it's going to be a busy day. But i figured i would say good morning while i had some time.
